Dan Kraiss is a founding principal of Box Studios Chicago. He has been in the industry for over 25 years, and his experience and dedication to the craft have earned him respect in the community. Dan's expertise in both design and construction has helped to create beautiful and functional spaces for clients of all sizes. He has a talent for understanding the needs of his clients and turning those needs into design solutions. Dan is also an active member of his community, and has been involved in numerous philanthropic efforts. He prides himself on being a leader in the design industry, and enjoys helping to shape the future of design. In his free time, Dan likes to race cars at the track and spend time in the mountains, hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Ferdinand Dimailig is a founding principal of Box Studios Chicago. Ferdinand has over 30 years of experience in the fields of architecture and interior design, with a focus on creating sustainable environments that are both functional and unique. Ferdinand is dedicated to designing spaces that foster collaboration, creativity, and wellness while being mindful of project budgets. He holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has taught various higher educational design classes at colleges in Chicago. Ferdinand is committed to creating meaningful, lasting relationships, and prides himself on providing impeccable service to his clients. When he is not working, Ferdinand has a variety of interests including all types of food, visual & performing arts, and museums. He is also a huge Chicago sports fan and junkie.
Jenna Rivera

Jenna Rivera is our Director of Client Services and a Senior Project Designer at BOX Studios. She has a BFA in Painting from the University of Illinois, a BFA in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art and has been in the design industry for over 15 years. In her role as Director of Client Services, she cultivates client relationships, serves as liaison between clients and her design team, and ensures that projects are implemented according to plan. Her personal mantra of “Failure is not an option” characterizes her positive approach to problem-solving and her relentless pursuit of excellence and augmenting client satisfaction. As Senior Project Designer, Jenna leads multiple projects at once and is responsible for managing and inspiring internal teams via strong leadership and organizational skills, which are complemented by her relationship building management style. She has a passion for design, a keen eye for detail and loves the challenge of bringing clients’ visions to life. Outside of the design world, Jenna enjoys playing volleyball, watching archeology shows, and spending time with her family.

Carlos Rivera is the Technical Director at Box Studios with over 30 years of experience in the industry working on projects ranging from small businesses to international corporations. His expertise in code research and technical detailing ensures that construction drawing sets are thorough and accurate. As an avid learner who loves sharing knowledge with others, Carlos is a natural mentor for BOX staff. His attention to detail and dedication to his clients make him an invaluable asset to the team at BOX Studios. In his free time, Carlos loves traveling and watching Chicago Cubs baseball.

Jordan Bonicelli

Jordan Bonicelli is a proud Colorado Native. In his early years Jordan participated in varsity athletics and competitive skiing. Mr. Bonicelli earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder. He also holds a Master of Architecture accompanied by a Design Build Certification from the University of Colorado Denver.

Jordan’s inherit design skills are bred naturally through his Italian blood lines. His passion for architectural design is influenced by art, fashion, automobiles and technology. His intuitive understanding of scale is rooted in his appreciation of ancient Roman architecture. Jordan’s extensive education, hands on construction background and diverse design experience lends him the knowledge required to bring innovative solutions to the toughest design challenges. Jordan’s focus is creating a harmonious balance of functionality and form. As the firm’s Principal he is Lead of Design, Client Liaison and Director of Operations.
